These terms apply when you use vishudhiyog.com and when you practise in classes taught by Vishudhi योग. Practising with us means you accept them. They are deliberately short.

1. Who you are dealing with

Vishudhi योग is a yoga teaching practice run by Harini, a trained teacher of traditional Hatha Yoga, operating from Gujarat, India, and teaching live online classes to students in several countries.

2. Health, safety and your own judgement

Because classes are taught live online rather than in person, there are limits on what a teacher can see and correct. This makes your own judgement more important than it would be in a studio. By practising with us you agree that:

• You have told us about any injury, condition, pregnancy or medication that could affect your practice, and you will tell us if that changes.
• You will work within your own range, take rest whenever you need it, and stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or breathlessness.
• You are responsible for your own practice space — enough clear floor, stable footing, and nothing you can strike if you lose balance.
• You participate voluntarily and accept the ordinary risks of physical activity.

Instructions given in class are offerings, not obligations. You may always decline a posture.

3. Free trial classes

New students are offered two free trial classes. There is no payment required, no card details collected, and no obligation whatsoever to continue afterwards. The trial is intended for people genuinely considering joining, one trial per person.

4. Classes, timings and bookings

• Batches run at fixed times through the week, set to work across time zones. Current timings are confirmed over WhatsApp before you join.
• Your place in a batch is confirmed once fees for that period are received.
• We may occasionally need to reschedule a class — for illness, a festival, or a technical problem. Where a class is cancelled by us, it will be made up or the session credited to your next period.
• If you miss a class, we will do our best to help you catch up, but individual missed sessions are not generally refunded or credited.

5. Fees and refunds

Fees depend on the class and schedule you choose and are confirmed to you in writing before you pay. Fees are payable in advance for the agreed period.

• Because two free trial classes are offered before any payment, fees for a period that has already begun are generally non-refundable.
• If you need to stop for a serious reason — illness, injury, pregnancy complications, relocation — contact Harini. Requests are handled reasonably and in good faith, usually by pausing your place rather than refunding it.
• If we discontinue a batch entirely, any unused portion of fees you have paid is refunded in full.

6. Recordings and class conduct

Please do not record, screenshot, stream or redistribute any class, in whole or in part, without written permission. Classes are shared spaces and other students have not consented to being recorded.

Any teaching materials, sequences, written guidance or recordings shared with you are for your personal practice only, and may not be reproduced or taught onward commercially.

We ask that you treat fellow students and the teacher with basic courtesy. We reserve the right to remove a student from a class or batch for conduct that is abusive, disruptive or unsafe to others.

7. This website

Content on this site — text, photographs, the Vishudhi mark and the mandala emblem — belongs to Vishudhi योग and may not be copied or reused commercially without permission.

We try to keep information here accurate and current, but timings, fees and offerings change. The details confirmed to you directly over WhatsApp or email always take precedence over the website. We do not guarantee the site will be available without interruption.

Testimonials describe individual experiences. Yoga affects different people differently, and nothing on this site should be read as a promise of any particular outcome.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vishudhi योग is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your participation in classes or use of this website, except where caused by our own negligence. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Material changes affecting existing students will be communicated directly.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of protections available under the mandatory law of your own country.
